There have been rumours that D’banj has signed Olamide to his record label DB Records, but no official confirmation…well, until now. D’banj’s younger brother, Kay Switch just welcomed Olamide to the family. Baddo is Olamide’s nick name. The music star is currently in Atlanta with D’banj. They will perform at a show tomorrow at AYVA Centre in Houston.
Welcome to the family! Baddo

News is just reaching us that the once-upon-a-time relationship between the two giant entertainers, D’banj and Don Jazzy has just been renewed as they both settled their long time rift today.
www.nigeriafilms.com gathered that the Oba Of Lagos, HRH Rilwan Akiolu, was so concerned about the business relationship between the two, called them up to his palace and settled their differences.
Don Jazzy in his word told the king that D’banj started it all but the Oba who said he wasn’t going to apportion any blame to any of them, asked the two to touch the royal staff and promised to be friends again.
As you are reading this, the two are already together again working on how to revive their Mo’hits entertainment outfit.

Must Read: Interview with D’banj as he pours out his heart about the Mo Hits Saga as Ayeni Adekunle narrates.
It was 4am on Saturday, April 21. I arrived in London eight hours earlier, and had spent almost all of that time chatting with D’banj, in his first interview with a Nigerian newspaper in a long time, and his first interview on the Mo’Hits brouhaha.
London is D’banj’s town. He’s performed there over and over, his single ‘Oliver Twist’ is on the A-list at Choice FM, and enjoys heavy rotation on other stations. A day before I came, he spent hours doing interviews at the Universal offices in Kensington. Some might hail D’banj as the man championing the gospel of ‘Afrobeats’ across the world. But, just like the cab driver, London does not yet know D’banj.

Vanguard Nigeria reports….
When we broke the news that one of Nigeria’s most celebrated musical duo Don Jazzy, his friend and partner, D’Banj were separated, most people accused us of spreading rumours. Today we’ve been vindicated by recent developments.
The first to react to the development, was Don Jazzy who through a mutual friend debunked reports that he was squatting with one of his artistes, Wande Coal.
He was visibly disappointed with the report and corrected it saying, he lives in his own house on Lagos Island.
“After all these years as a successful producer and record company executive, are Nigerians saying I am not well off enough to afford my own place?”, he was quoted as saying.
The implication of the report according
The recent announcement that Nigeria’s most celebrated entertainer Don Jazzy, chief executive of Mo’Hit records and his partner D’Banj, the number one musician on the label, have parted ways, has left most Nigerians still reeling in shock.
Most people are yet to come to terms with the development as the broken down relationship many thought was made by the gods was untouchable. The situation, Vanguard reports, remains the same and the story of the separation, real!.
As the Nigeria’s number one entertainment newspaper, Vanguard serves you only with the best stories and nothing more.
Now back to the story and why the celebrated entertainers parted ways.
Their decision to part ways was something our source said was agreed upon by the two former pals.
It was taken long before the
Creative and personal differences seem to be driving Mo’Hits pair D’Banj and Don Jazzy to a break up.
It became clear that the relationship had gone sour when reports alleged that Don Jazzy has moved out of their Lekki Phase 1, mansion.
The closeness of the duo went south last year, when it was noticed that they arrived and sat separately at several awards ceremonies.
A report from the website of a reputable dailies(Not BusinessDay) has quoted an inside source as saying that Don Jazzy has become frustrated with D’banj’s lifestyle, tantrums and unmanageable ego that he refuses to work with him. D’Banj, for his part, feels Don Jazzy is spending more time honing the careers of D’Prince and Dr. Sid, and delaying his album release by giving excuses

As The Entertainer marked his formal US debut , MTV Iggy caught up with the Mo’Hits act as he talked about working with his G.O.O.D Music record label boss Kanye West, why he feels he’s already broken out and how he feels bringing Nigerian music to a more global audience.
How does it feel to be bringing Nigerian music to a more global audience?
With the reception I’ve gotten, I’d like to say, not like I was nervous, I just hoped and prayed that people would come with an open mind, that they can listen. And I saw that today, they came with their hearts, they came with their minds. I’m only grateful to God that that’s the beginning. Seeing this, I’m now eager to move around and continue the gospel.
What is your next step toward world domination?
To go on the road. America, for
