The Eagles took over the second half when Iwobi equalised in the 52nd minute to make it 2-2.
Brian Idowu who was making his debut for Nigeria made it 3-2 in the 54th minute of the game while Iwobi scored his second goal of the game to make it 4-2 and sealed the victory for Nigeria.
This is the first time since 1994 that the Super Eagles will beat Argentina on away soil.
