A team bonding meal is being blamed on Chelsea’s defeat at Manchester United.
Chelsea lost 2-0 to Manchester United courtesy of goals in either half from Marcus Rashford and Ander Herrera.
It later emerged that the likes of Marco Alonso, Diego Costa and Victor Moses were all struck down by a virus.
The Guardian says the virus could have spread because of a team-bonding meal on Thursday night that Conte himself had arranged.
It is said all three players were absent from training at the end of last week but did their utmost to be fit for the United showdown.
