According to reports, Everton and Southampton are battling each other in the race to sign Club Brugge sensation Noah Fadiga

In addition to the English duo, the highly rated 17-year-old has also reportedly attracted the interest of Italian clubs Genoa and Roma.

Southampton also reportedly tried to sign the player before he penned his first professional deal with Brugge earlier this year.

The Saints have developed a reputation for identifying and developing young talent and have identified Fadiga as yet another talented youngster whom they can help develop.

Everton boss Ronald Koeman has also developed a reputation of helping to develop and grow young talent as he has done with the likes of Tom Davies and Ademola Lookman.

It remains to be seen if Fadiga will remain with Brugge this season, however due to the interest that has been generated around his signature, it is unlikely that he will remain with the Belgian club for the long-term.
