The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a 28-year-old woman, Anita Ekechukwu, her brother, Sunday Ekechukwu; and three others, Benedict Nwadike, Emmanuel Ochi, also known as General and George Emmanuel, aka Force Man, for armed robbery. According to the police authorities, the suspects were arrested while robbing bureau de change operators of millions of naira at different times. Narrating how the suspects operated, a source at the Special Anti-Robbery Squad said Anita would pose as a customer and convince the bureau de change operator to enter a vehicle with her only to rob him. Suspected Islamist extremists have attacked a secondary school and military checkpoint in northeast, leaving 11 people dead including seven students, the military said Monday. Details were sketchy and the information could not be independently confirmed. Mobile phone lines have been cut in much of the northeast since the start of a military offensive targeting Islamist extremist group Boko Haram on May 15 and access to the area is limited. The attackers were said to have stormed student living quarters on Sunday night in the city of Damaturu and shot sporadically, killing seven students and two teachers. A teenage girl chopped her father’s head clean off with a bush knife after he Molested her in their home in the highlands of Papua New Guinea. Now residents of the village have formed a protective ring around the 18-year-old, refusing to hand her over to the police because they agreed her ‘evil’ father deserved to die. A little girl kidnapped from the Children department of the Living Faith Church in Ota, Ogun State, has been found. The girl was brought to church this morning by her parents. The girl now around four years was reportedly sold to a woman in Kano. The girl known as Praise was taken away from the woman after the man that kidnapped him confessed to committing the crime. The kidnapper said he was struck with a strange disease after kidnapping Praise. He also became blind.In additiôn to this, he said he was always seeing the founder of the church, Bishop David Oyedepo, pursuing him with a sword in his dream, hencé his decision to confess his sin.
