Liverpool striker Luis Suarez was again at the center of controversy today after it appeared that he bit Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic during the 2-2 tie at Anfield. Fighting between soldiers and Boko Haram members killed at least 185 people in Baga, a fishing community in Borno, officials said Sunday, an attack that saw insurgents fire rocket-propelled grenades and soldiers spray machine-gun fire into neighborhoods filled with civilians. The fighting in Baga began Friday and lasted for hours, sending people fleeing into the arid scrublands surrounding the community on Lake Chad. By Sunday, when government officials finally felt safe enough to see the destruction, homes, businesses and vehicles were burned throughout the area. Just saw that youtube video of a Nigerian lady raped and then buried alive in Bonny Island. South South Nigeria and you can’t but wonder the depth of evil that seems to permeate our society. From gang rape to rape being recorded on mobile devices, It scares me that we are sure sinking into the abyss and no words can explain the reason behind such evil. We can only call on God to help our society, evil seems to be winning. No related posts.
The police officer asks a middle-aged woman sarcastically: “Did he pop you?” Apparently uncomfortable with the presence of a small crowd that had gathered, she was reluctant to answer the question. But the man at the centre of the matter roundly denied the accusation. The sex hawker he brought home the previous night had alleged that he slept with her and refused to pay for services rendered all night long. He told the policemen who arrested him that he refused to pay her because he dozed off without touching her, due to excessive booze. It was obvious he did not convince the police because the prostitute was asked the same question again and replied: “He popped me.” This was despite the man insisted, “I didn’t have sex with her and I can’t pay for

Screen goddess, Joke Silva – who is happpily married to ace actor, Olu Jacobs – in a recent interview with Nollywood Insider had this to say about the high rate of divorce in Nollywood. “Long surviving marriage is not exceptional in this industry. The thing is that, we are the ones that people know. Sony Irabor and Betty; John Momoh and Shola; and Bayo Oduneye have been married much longer. What of the late Justus and his wife? We have marriages that have stood the test of time just like you will find in other professions. For me, since you love the person you get married to, both of you should work at it together. See it as your main responsibility once you get married. Even before you get married, you should ask yourself, am I capable of making this person my total responsibility? That,
