The false rumour might have generated from the leak of some steel set photos in her first movie production. The photos establish an insane Sonia in an inmate costume acting so weird like a mad person.
These were shots from her upcoming movie ‘The Number One Fan’ where she became possessed and acted like a mad person.
‘The Number One Fan’ is the first produced movie by her elder sister, Juliet Ibrahim. It stars Yemi Blaq, Kofi Adjololo, Juliet Ibrahim, AY (comedian), Emmanuel Mensah (U.S.A), Zainab and Keitta (BBA), Eddie Nartey, Narsh Smith among others and features: Majid Michel, Chichi Neblett, Sandra Ankobiah, Sister Deborah etc.

The single actress revealed that she spent over $ 3,000 to maintain the new hair style that will make her identity upstanding. “I maintain it every week too” she proudly said.

The organizers of the annual Ghana Movie Awards have released the nominations for the 3rd edition of the awards.
The nominations have been described as fair and devoid of the normal controversies.
Some actresses in the category are; Yvonne Nelson, Martha Ankomah who both won the Favourite Actress of the year in the first and second edition of the awards respectively, Jackie Appiah, Yvonne Okoro and Nadia Buari (two times Ghana Movie Awards best supporting actress winner).
Single & Married topped the list with 10 nominations. Followed closely is Grooms Bride with 8 nominations. Kobi Rana’s Hotel Babylon obtained the third highest nominations with 6. ‘Queen Latifa’, ‘Secret Burden’ and ‘Wanna Be’ got 4 nominations each.
