Lagos roads blocked as First Lady, Patience Jonathan visits Lagos state

Traffic builds up on the island as the first lady, Patience Jonathan arrives Lagos today. OMG correspondents gathered that different routes have been cordoned off: Bonny camp via Lekki route, Ikoyi route and the popular CMS,  leaving the commuters to go through alternative routes.

This has generated several reactions by road users, and it’s been exhaustedly discussed on twitter.

The popular comendian, Basket mouth, on his twitter page wrote ” @basket_mouth: Lagosians…be patient with the Lagos traffic jam, Patience is in town”. More comments have been streaming in.

The traffic jam would stay as long as the First lady remains. We wish Lagosians safe trip as they log through the terrible hold-up home.
