Jay-Z, Chris Martin, Timberland Take Public Transport To Gig at O2
Jay Z, Timberland, and Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin surprised commuters by taking London commuter train to their gig at the 02 arena in London on Saturday night. His manager Ty Ty and Atlanta Records executive Michael Kyser were also with the group.
Jay Z may arguably be the best rapper walking this earth but that doesn’t stop him from wanting to be one with the people.
The mogul took the train to one of his shows at the Barclay Center just last year and now Hov is getting down with public transportation again, this time in London.
Fresh off dropping his Made In America documentary, Jigga man arrived at the Waterloo Train Station and hopped on the “tube” to O2 Arena for his sold-out “Magna Carta Holy Grail” tour and he brought some pals along with him.
Good friend, Ty Ty was along for the ride as well as Timbaland and Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin. Michael Kyser and executive at Atlantic Records who was also rolling with Jay took to Twitter to document their antics. He posted:
Coming off the tube and I see Jay Z casually walking up the next escalator next to me… EVERYONE GOES NUTS!! WTF??!
So jay Z gets on a tube to his own concert LOOOL about 500 ppl just ran after him
