YouWin 2 (Youth Enterprise with Innovation in Nigeria) is more of a business plan competition with emphasis on women was launched Sep 3 in Abuja, Nigeria by the President and the co-ordinating Minister of the Economy. The event which opened with fanfare riding on the successes recorded from the first edition was attended by some past awardees, youth groups, reputable women entrepreneurs, minsters and other top government officials.

YouWin 2 is exclusively for female entrepreneurs aged between 18 and 45.

1,200 awardees were selected from the first version following a rigorous and exciting contest with the initial shortlist and final selection conducted by an International business school and eminent Nigerians respectively.

The main objective of the Youth Enterprise with Innovation in Nigeria (YouWIN!) Our thoughts, this is probably one of the best administered programmes by the present government. In-house at Nigeria360, we know at least 5 individuals who entered for the first version of the competition and 2 who were eventually awarded the grant.
