Omawumi has been nominated severally for many awards including two categories of SOUNDCITY MUSIC VIDEO AWARDS (SMVA) forBest Special Effects and Editing, and won the most coveted prize of the HIPHOP WORLD AWARDS (HHWA) 2009 -NextRated and Best Vocal Performance (Female).
